With the opportunity of October 2nd, International Non-Violence Day, EBCO organised an action in solidarity with Ukrainian conscientious objector and journalist Ruslan Kotsaba, at the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union in Brussels, calling Ukraine to immediately stop the prosecution of pacifist Ruslan Kotsaba.

Francesco Candelari, SG of IFOR , is just back from Libanon, on the border with Syria, where he met last weeks, together with Mairead Corrigan Maguire (Nobel Prize for Peace), several representatives of Syrian civil society in exile. What about nonviolent resistance movements in Syria, the civil society and the political actuality. Is a nonviolent response possible ?
