The Comité Louis Lecoin for the support of the European Bureau for Concientious Objection has for aim to promote the right to conscientious objection to prepare war as a fondamental human right, so as national level as international level. Louis Lecoin (1888-1971), the biggest french pacifist, made a hungerstrike in 1962, when he was 74 years old, to get a law for conscientious objectors. After that, in 1963, the president, the general De Gaulle, gave the first french law for conscientious objection.
